Future Fuels for Australia Workshop, 19-20 July 2011
Venue: Customs House, 399 Queen Street, Brisbane, Australia.
Why the workshop?
Australia relies heavily on imported oil and its economy is negatively affected by the increasing price of oil. Sustainable and clean alternative fuels become more important not only for national energy security, but also because they are financially attractive. There is a wide range of alternative fuels that have been investigated with no clear winners yet. The workshop intends to bring together people from government, industry and research organisations to discuss this important topic.
Who should attend?
The workshop is open to anyone interested in this important topic including students, researchers, automotive suppliers, energy companies and business people. It is a great opportunity to gain a good understanding of the current status of development of alternative fuels in Australia/world in a short time period. It is also a great opportunity to meet people in the area or interested in the area.
