Health and safety

Ambre Energy considers the health and safety of its staff and the community to be a priority and we strive to ensure our workplaces are free from injuries, accidents and harm.

We believe that there should be zero tolerance for process and practices that put the health and safety of our workers, consultants and contractors or visitors to our sites at risk.

Ambre Energy is introducing a company-wide safety management framework which will ensure all potential hazards and risks are appropriately identified, and strategies are in place to reduce the likelihood of incidents and injury.

Medical training

A number of personal safety risks exist in relation to aspects of our business, including mining and exploration activities, and the handling, storage and transport of hazardous substances. These are well documented.

We will ensure:

  • our staff are aware of their workplace rights and obligations
  • our business objectives never become more important than the people who pursue them
  • our operations pose the lowest possible risks, through training, numerous safeguards (which will exceed state and federal requirements) and a proactive approach to identifying and eliminating hazards and risks
  • all incidents and injuries are appropriately reported
  • a proactive approach to identifying and eliminating hazards and risks is encouraged
  • our staff can actively contribute to managing their own workplace health and well-being.
